Welcome to Laopitnuu, a vast wilderness with generations of history flowing through it like a timeless river. This pristine land is home to many natural creatures, including the intelligent beasts known as wolves. But all is not as normal and natural as it seems. These mountains and valleys are ruled by three species of wolves: The Jord, which are the natural-born wolves, The Vann, which are water-dwelling wolves, and the Lufte who have glorious wings and take to the sky. These glorious animals are hidden from the world, except for the occasional band of human hunters who aren't intelligent enough to seek out the mysteries this land holds. Do you have what it takes to navigate this harsh terrain? Corrupt Redemption is a brand new, literate-advanced, wolf roleplay community. Please apply before joining, and have an enjoyable stay!

The packs are steadily growing. Laopitnuu has more than its fair share of Jack Frost's blessing, for snow and ice have made it a dangerous winter landscape. The Rohan pack has taken three rogues under its wing, one seeming to have caught the affection of the youngest Rohan she-wolf.
» • Winter
It has been a long, brutal winter, but it isn't over yet. A short period of rain managed to wash most of the snow away, but it came back with full force. There is about three-four feet of icy snow over the land, and most lakes are now frozen. Whiteouts are quite common now, and icicles coat every available ledge and den entrance. It is unbearably cold, and almost impossible for even the strongest Lufte to stay in the sky without crashing because of the random snow storms, and the strong winds. It seems as though spring may never come, and that this snow may stay forever. However, spirits are being raised now that the days have clear, cerulean skies, and a bright sun. Without a doubt, it gives optimism to those lovers of springtime! Even though the heavens manage to drop a bit of snow every day, it appears that the great wolf god Dormin is starting to wake and reclaim his kingdom with the warm rays of the sun.

Muerdame Pack Log Here is where you can see the hierarchy of the pack, upcoming meetings and hunts, and recent events. If you'd like, you can request a mate for your wolf here.
Clan Camp This is where the pack normally sleeps and gathers. There are several food caches here, and many bones scattered about from past kills. There is often a charred bit of debris in the center of the camp, as the pack like to sit around a fire when nights are cold. Pups love to play here, and there are many small dens dug into the earth. • image of area

The Fever Marshes This vast wetland consumes most of the Muerdame's land. It is a place of sadness, decay, and darkness. A permanent cloud of fog looms over the treetops, and a sickening chorus of screaming prey animals and howling beasts plays in the distance. The trees here are either old and bare, or thick willow trees that consume the earth with numerous, large roots. There are many swamps here, and the earth is covered by damp moss and tall grasses. Crickets and frogs chirp almost year round, setting the aura for this damp bog. If you are not careful, it is quite easy to become stuck in the putrid swamps. There are many skeletons littered throughout this area, the animals having drowned or poisoned by the toxic mushrooms that reside here. This is Muerdame territory, trespassers beware! • image of area
Meadows of Guilt This rare spot of open land in Muerdame is not like other meadows. It is a haven of poisonous snakes, which hide in the rocky hills that consume the area. Grasses and ferns are numerous here, as are small pools of murky water surrounded by cattails and reeds. There are a few small forests here consisting of dead oaks and thin, towering conifers. Prey here mostly consists of small deer, or perhaps even a wild pony that has become lost within the unforgiving wilderness. A small portion of these meadows is taken over by another swamp, which has skeletal white trees growing out of it. Hidden in this misty swamp, is a miniature "island" made up earth and rock elevated from the swamp water. There is a den here crafted of logs, which serves as the site for birthing and pup raising. • image of area
Arbre Mort Tunnels This sacred place is only known to the Muerdame. Deep in the dense wilderness, you will find a hole directly in the earth, lined with boulders and stones that are exposed within the earth. It leads down into a wide tunnel. The “hallway" has what looks like painted hieroglyphics of terrible deeds and bloodshed. This tunnel stretches for about a half of a mile. It ends abruptly, suddenly opening into an underground chamber. This is the sacred meeting area of the Muerdame. They hold strange rituals here, where the wolf god Demetrius is praised. Skulls and pelts line the walls, trophies from slain enemies. There is not much known about this blood-soaked place. All that is known is that if a wolf goes in who isn't a Muerdame will not come out again with his flesh intact. • image of area

Champignon Tomb This forest is overflowing with boulders and rocks, and even several caves and tunnels. The reason for its name has to be blamed on the mushrooms. No matter where you are in this enchanted wood, there is some sort of fungi. Mostly there are large red shrooms known as Muscaria, used as a drug against enemies. This forest has such a "magic" reputation because of the many species of mushrooms that are used as drugs. There is a rocky basin in these forests, lined with mushrooms and moss. There is a cavern here, which is used as a graveyard for the pack. Small herds of deer roam this woodland, making a grand buffet for any wolf skilled enough to hunt and kill one. • image of area
