Anything is possible here...
Welcome to Laopitnuu, a vast wilderness with generations of history flowing through it like a timeless river. This pristine land is home to many natural creatures, including the intelligent beasts known as wolves. But all is not as normal and natural as it seems. These mountains and valleys are ruled by three species of wolves: The Jord, which are the natural-born wolves, The Vann, which are water-dwelling wolves, and the Lufte who have glorious wings and take to the sky. These glorious animals are hidden from the world, except for the occasional band of human hunters who aren't intelligent enough to seek out the mysteries this land holds. Do you have what it takes to navigate this harsh terrain? Corrupt Redemption is a brand new, literate-advanced, wolf roleplay community. Please apply before joining, and have an enjoyable stay!
There are three unique, epic plots that are to be introduced soon. So believe me, you won't regret joining.

The packs are steadily growing. Laopitnuu has more than its fair share of Jack Frost's blessing, for snow and ice have made it a dangerous winter landscape. The Rohan pack has taken three rogues under its wing, one seeming to have caught the affection of the youngest Rohan she-wolf.
» • Winter
It has been a long, brutal winter, but it isn't over yet. A short period of rain managed to wash most of the snow away, but it came back with full force. There is about three-four feet of icy snow over the land, and most lakes are now frozen. Whiteouts are quite common now, and icicles coat every available ledge and den entrance. It is unbearably cold, and almost impossible for even the strongest Lufte to stay in the sky without crashing because of the random snow storms, and the strong winds. It seems as though spring may never come, and that this snow may stay forever. However, spirits are being raised now that the days have clear, cerulean skies, and a bright sun. Without a doubt, it gives optimism to those lovers of springtime! Even though the heavens manage to drop a bit of snow every day, it appears that the great wolf god Dormin is starting to wake and reclaim his kingdom with the warm rays of the sun.

Autumn; improve his shining tail xx
It was early, far earlier than was normal for the Rohan wolves to venture out in search of sustenance. However, there was a sort of savage lust that needed to be quenched, and the dark morning held a certain... Primitive aura. Hundreds of severed clouds criss-crossed over the light indigo heavens, seemingly creating a quilt of fluffy cotton. Hues of orange, periwinkle, yellow, and every other color imaginable floated around through the sky like spilled paints, illuminated by the faint glow of the sun that had not yet graced the horizon. In the distance, indistinguishable birds flew, silhouetted against the vibrant light of early morning. An unnerving chill was in the air, which heightened the senses and awoke the mind. Like usual, the pack had set out for the large meadow, for it was common knowledge that many different creatures passed through here at any given time. The meadow was still shrouded in shadows, though a part of it was slowly being consumed by the faint light of the sun. The snow lay untouched, and perfectly smooth. It was a vast expanse of open land, bordered by dark forests on every side. And, not too far off, shadows were shifting about slowly and the faint sound of shuffling hooves was on the wind. By their musky scent, it was obvious that it was a small herd of elk. How they had been separated from the larger herds was unknown, but no one much cared anyway.
She stopped in her tracks, and allowed a wide yawn to pass. Around her were a few scattered rocks, and a bit of tall, dead grass. It didn't make for great camouflage, but it would have to do. Willow didn't usually drag her pack away from their slumber so early, but she had a feeling of great restlessness this morning, and she could not help but pester them until they decided to join her. She snorted a bit of frustrated air out of her nostrils, which turned into a light mist, then gently placed her hindquarters into the snow. She looked over the tired faces of her kin, and fought against the yawn that wanted desperately to be freed from her lungs. Of course, she wasn't worried, the cold air would fully wake them soon enough. "Now wake up, you lot! We need to do a bit of planning before taking on those cows; they are much different than the deer we normally hunt." She looked to Altair, who had just taken a seat beside her, a serious expression stuck to his face. He, of course, showed no sign of weariness at all. Willow peered around for a few moments in search of Calypso, but she soon gave up. That elusive bird was always wandering away to hide in a tree somewhere. After taking another look around, she noticed something that made her highly concerned. "Where is Ava, and Marlene?" She asked, obviously confused and a bit worried. It wasn't like Ava to be so distant, and for the past month she had hardly been with her pack mates. It was also odd behavior for Marlene to miss a hunt, as she was so keen on improving her skill. The whole thing was just odd.

Evain padded silently over to the outpost from the den and nudged Altair awake; the two guardians had been trading off watch hours through the night, as they always did. It was Evain's turn for the night watch, so Altair had been allowed a night of full rest. Now ready to take up his spot in the guardian's outpost for sleep, Evain yawned fitfully and moved his gargantuan body to the ground. Though he'd lost the ability to curl into a ball eons ago (his staggering size made this impossible) Evain enjoyed simply flopping onto his side for a rest. He rolled over to his side and watched Altair trot off to check on the den, where he was stopped by Willow, who began to speak to him. Deciding that he wasn't interested in whatever she was telling Altair (the wolf would tell him later, no doubt) Evain shut his eyes. No sooner did he do this than did Willow trot over, an excited look plastered onto her features, and nuzzle him awake. Evain reluctantly opened his olive eyes and met his alphess' gaze.
"Mmbf." He grunted through his exhaustion, then sat up at attention to recover from his disrespectful gesture. "Come on Evain, I'm rousing the pack for a hunting trip!" Willow had a sense of utter restlessness about her, and Evain knew this mood well enough to realize that she was going to get her way, whether or not he wanted to bend to her whims. Though Evain was quite tired after pulling an all-nighter and thought he'd like nothing more than to sleep, there was a bloodlust that resided within all wolves; A bloodlust that needed to be sated once roused. He grumbled more loudly this time, and got to his feet. I sincerely wish she had not come to wake me. Once the alphess' back was turned, Evain stretched his front paws and curled his tail towards his back, then quickly trotted after her to assist in waking his packmates. Rather then nuzzle them awake sweetly as Willow was beginning to do, Evain coughed loudly, then let loose a single, sudden bark that was as loud as it was deep. Instantly, the wolves ears perked and they sat up, bewildered from their dreams. "Good morning, sweethearts!" Evain's deep voice echoed through the den as he spoke with a heavy sense of sarcasm. He paused for a moment, then resumed his speech with a more commanding tone. "Your alphess has requested that we all go on a hunting trip, so let's get to it. If I have to be awake for this, so do you!" That said, the Rohan clan roused, shuffling out of the heated den and into the frigid morning. On the way out to the meadow Evain's olive eyes studied the morning sky, which seemed to be painstakingly brushed with all the most beautiful colors, then splattered with translucent clouds and set ablaze by the sunrise. The burly male yawned and watched his breath transform into warm smoke with a sense of light-hearted amusement. Eyes now considerably wider and more alert, Evain fell into line next to Altair. The pair of guardians headed the rest of the sleepy Rohans and were led only by Willow, who marched proudly in front of her family; Obviously her mood had been brightened by the sense of purpose the hunt always gave them. Willow stopped near the edge of the meadow and turned to face them. "Now wake up, you lot! We need to do a bit of planning before taking on those cows; they are much different than the deer we normally hunt." She was answered with a few reluctant grunts, but by now most were awake and ready to go. Their leader's expression changed drastically as something seemed to dawn upon her. "Where is Ava, and Marlene?" Evain's left eye twitched in annoyance. He hadn't seen little Ava since he'd been back, how long had she been gone before he'd arrived? He wished someone had taken the time to bestow upon him this little golden nugget of information; Though he felt like a failure in himself for not noticing the absent she-wolf. It was his job as a guardian to watch over his family, all of them. As for Marlene, he'd seen her only a few hours ago talking to the new male on the edge of the campfire. Evain winced slightly, not happy with the idea that the rogue had stolen her out from under them on his patrol. He hoped that someone knew where she was, and pained on the inside to think of what would happen if she didn't turn up soon. The only thing he did outwardly, though, was to laugh under his breath and shoulder Altair slightly at the mention of Marlene, as though joking that she'd run off with the stocky little vagrant they'd seen her with the previous evening.

Sainty, POP! but there is no more timefor lies.
She was a deep sleeper, but nothing would have been able to remove the voice that boomed around the den, somehow managing to echo between the mass of bodies scattered across the floor. She started at the sound, her head darting into the air from its place, squeezed between her stomach, and hind leg. Her molten peepers were somewhat dreary when they finally dragged themselves open, not holding their usual brightness at all, and it was clear they were heavy with sleep. A few blinks however, and they were well one their way to regaining the natural sparkle. She looked around in a sort of daze at first, but was quick to pick out two familiar figures standing among the sea of fell ahead of her, one being Willow and the other Evain – The owner of the voice. She frowned a little, guessing that they had been in for a far quieter, and more relaxed awakening, until someone had decided they were in a bad enough mood, to make the rest of them suffer somewhat. She did manage a small bat of the tail once she realised the reason for the rude interruption of slumber, a hunt!
At the time, she had not been happy about being roused, but now they were out and well on their way to the meadow, she was is far higher spirits. She had, for the most part, a slight spring in her step as she followed on directly behind the two guardians. In all honesty, she wanted to go a little faster, but knew this would not bode well with her superiors, so was forced to use the sky as a distraction from her lively paws. It was amazing how she had gone from the least cooperative of the bunch, to one of the most vibrant and alert in such a small space of time, but she had managed it nevertheless. Her attentions elsewhere, she almost collided with Altair when, all of a sudden it was decided that they should take a short break. She released a silent whine as she plopped down onto the snow, to prevent herself from causing the collision she was sure would happen otherwise, but was soon focussed on her alphess as she further mentioned the hunt. Her lips parted to release a dubious bark of excitement, probably to the distaste of her pack mates, but it was far too early to worry about such trivialities.
Makenna ruffled her copper fur, slightly chilled now that they had come to a halt. Her lower jaw dropped in order for her to yawn, but she bit it back, as in the same moment, Willow mentioned the absence of both Ava, and little Marlene. She did not want to appear as if she did not care, because she did, they were her family now and she had formed a bond with each one, be it stronger with a certain few than others. “Ava has not been around since last night-” She offered, but then quickly added something, as it was not exactly the best news, “But, I am pretty sure Marlene was here when we retired to the dens. She cannot be far, surely?” Daring a quick smile, she hoped she had not spoken out too quickly.

dreis i don't care what you think, as long as its about me. -------------------------------
What exactly was he doing?
Standing out in the snow, Dreis' off-white coat was collecting snowflakes that his tail seemed to stir up as it wagged behind him. He had been up with the sun, his golden-green eyes staring as the night's sky turned into a different mixture of colors as the great ball of gas lifted into the heavens. The male plopped his rear onto the frozen grounds, paws shuffling slightly, and ears flicked. He could hear the Rohan pack, not that far away from where he was sitting, stirring. And by their voices, it told the young male that there was a hunt to be had. But he didn't move from the spot. His eyes were glued to the sky, the blue that seemed to have appeared out of no where, lost in thought.
Thoughts of the alphess. Why had Willow seemed so familiar to him, and where did these strange feelings emit from? It was odd; he had never seen or heard of Willow before now, but it felt like he had known her for an eternity. Shaking his head sadly, he came to the conclusion that he was going insane. Keep it to yourself, he thought, his claws digging into the snow that sat underneath him, blanketing the terrain and masking any sort of life. His deep sigh was released into the air as a large mask of fog, drowning him in his thoughts once more. Why was he thinking such things? Growling low in his throat, the wolf pushed himself up, shaking his coat out and walking forward. He didn't need to hunt with a pack that he didn't belong to. Willow hadn't formally accepted him into the pack, only allowed him shelter from the blistery winter.
And perhaps he had over-stayed his welcome. He paused in mid-step, turning his head to look back where the pack resided. Would Willow be heartbroken that he had left? She did seem a bit close to him, but Dreis shrugged this thought away, knowing an alpha was close to all of their pack members. Sighing and turning back around, Dreis trudged through the snow, his flicking solemnly behind him.
