Anything is possible here...
Welcome to Laopitnuu, a vast wilderness with generations of history flowing through it like a timeless river. This pristine land is home to many natural creatures, including the intelligent beasts known as wolves. But all is not as normal and natural as it seems. These mountains and valleys are ruled by three species of wolves: The Jord, which are the natural-born wolves, The Vann, which are water-dwelling wolves, and the Lufte who have glorious wings and take to the sky. These glorious animals are hidden from the world, except for the occasional band of human hunters who aren't intelligent enough to seek out the mysteries this land holds. Do you have what it takes to navigate this harsh terrain? Corrupt Redemption is a brand new, literate-advanced, wolf roleplay community. Please apply before joining, and have an enjoyable stay!
There are three unique, epic plots that are to be introduced soon. So believe me, you won't regret joining.

Your wolf can now have an astrological sign.
The packs are steadily growing. Laopitnuu has more than its fair share of Jack Frost's blessing, for snow and ice have made it a dangerous winter landscape. The Rohan pack has taken three rogues under its wing, one seeming to have caught the affection of the youngest Rohan she-wolf.
» • Winter
It has been a long, brutal winter, but it isn't over yet. A short period of rain managed to wash most of the snow away, but it came back with full force. There is about three-four feet of icy snow over the land, and most lakes are now frozen. Whiteouts are quite common now, and icicles coat every available ledge and den entrance. It is unbearably cold, and almost impossible for even the strongest Lufte to stay in the sky without crashing because of the random snow storms, and the strong winds. It seems as though spring may never come, and that this snow may stay forever. However, spirits are being raised now that the days have clear, cerulean skies, and a bright sun. Without a doubt, it gives optimism to those lovers of springtime! Even though the heavens manage to drop a bit of snow every day, it appears that the great wolf god Dormin is starting to wake and reclaim his kingdom with the warm rays of the sun.

Apply for Membership This is the first place you visit, preferably BEFORE you join. Please post a roleplay sample, as long or short as you want. It doesn't have to be a wolf roleplay sample, it can be any genre. Note, that the longer and more detailed it is, the better the chance of your acceptance is. One of the staff members will either accept or reject you within a day or two. If you are rejected, feel free to make a better roleplay sample and re-post it. If you are rejected a second time, I'd suggest learning some proper writing skills.
Tattered Scrolls This is the board you go to after you have been accepted. Here you will find the rules, information, and other such things. Please read everything, and make sure you abide by it. If you are caught breaking any rules, you could possibly be deleted. If you have not read the rules properly, we'll know.
Bring Me That Horizon If you are leaving for good, or perhaps going to be gone longer than a week, post here. Tell us how long you'll be gone, or why you're leaving. Once you say you are leaving for good, your characters will be placed in the 'adopt a character' board, and you will be unable to get them back unless you are first to ask for them on the thread they are located on.
Affiliations & Advertisements Come here to affiliate with us, or advertise. Please read the rules before affiliating, and follow the form provided. Do not flood the board with repeated advertisements, as this just makes us angry.

Member Lounge This board is for the lovely members! Feel free to do some out of character chatting, sharing poems, art, stories, and such. You can also request some graphics here. If you like, you can post the URL to your DeviantArt. There is also a sub-board made especially for your mini-plot-making needs!
Corrupt Archives Here you will find completed and dead boards. You cannot post on them, but you may look over them and see Corrupt's history. If a board was moved here you were not finished with, PM a staff member and they will restore it to its proper place.
Submit a Character Before you roleplay, your character must be posted here AND accepted by a staff member. To be accepted, your character must have accurate statistics, which means they must follow the character template, and be nicely detailed. Once they are accepted, you may roleplay with them.
Adoption Center If you no longer have muse for a character, but don't want to kill them off, post your character's bio in here. Once you do so, ANYONE can adopt your character, (after being given the go ahead by a staff member) so think twice before abandoning them. Staff members have the right to reserve a character. Also, know that you cannot have anything changed about the character you're adopting. However, you may change their picture, as long as it stays true to the wolf's looks, and stylize their bio how you see fit.
The many souls • • Here you will find all of the accepted character biographies. Remember to keep all of your characters active. There is no character limit, but please don't flood yourself with wolves. You can still modify them if they are accepted, but please don't make any drastic changes with no explanation. Please don't post in the threads here, it will just be deleted. Thank you.
Character Logs Here you may create a log for your character. It is not a bio, but more of a "journal" if you would. Stylize your wolf's log in any way you like, as long as you don't stretch the board with large pictures. Remember, keeping a log for your character is optional, so don't feel obligated to.
New Life Pups are fun to roleplay are they not? If your she-wolf has mated with another wolf, fill out the application within. An admin will create a new thread with the outcome. If it was successful, the admin will determine the number, genders, and visage of the pups. The roleplayer of each parent may roleplay 1-2 pups, and have first pick of the litter. The rest may be adopted by any other member.
A Rose on The Grave At some point, all characters have to die. They will not be forgotten however. When a wolf dies, his/her biography will be moved to this board. You can look over them, and even post a little something on their thread in remembrance. Also, thier cause of death will be on their thread, so everyone knows how he/she went.

The Shaman's Den Here you can spend your Crystals. Many things can be found here, from potions to animal companions. To purchase something, fill out the form provided within. It is a good idea to create an inventory within your wolf's log to keep track of what you have purchased.
alphas; willow & none • image of terra These wolves live in a rainy and deciduous terrain, where the summers are humid and the winters bring plenty of snow. These canines keep their family close, and are very suspicious of strangers. In battle, they are ruthless and skilled, making them a prized ally. The largest prey source in their terra are white-tailed deer. There are many caverns hidden in the lush woodlands here. This clan is suspected to consist of direct descendants of the wolf legends. There are a few creeks in this territory, but only one river. The fishing is good however, so the pack cannot complain. Often, ancient graves can be found. These graves are more likely than not the resting places of warriors passed, and maybe even the old legends.
alphas; damascus & none • image of terra The Muerdame live in the thick, dark woodlands of the rogue wilderness. They aren't a tightly-knit family, but have large numbers. They are anti-social, and some are quite evil and deranged. In battle they have the advantage of numbers, but beside the high-ranking, many of them are not skilled in battle. They're dark home hosts many swamps, where many rogues have drowned. All manners of deer, boar, and fowl roam here, keeping these blood-thirsty wolves well-fed. Mist seems to emanate from nowhere, but is well-fitting for such a dark and sorrow place. The Muerdame have deep cavers within the earth, which have many tunnels reaching out over their land. In fact, there usually can be an entrance to this underground place every mile or two. Only the Muerdame know how to navigate the labyrinth of caves. Other wolves would surely become lost, and never see the light of day again. Beware of these creatures.
alphas; reaper & none • image of terra The Oselias are a peaceful pack. They strive to keep the peace within Miyaharu. These Lufte wolves have a very fertile territory in the mountains. There is a large valley in their territory that is flooded with a massive, thick forest. This dense woodland is full of prey, and a calm river where the wolves can quench their thirst. Where the elevation rises, it gets rockier and rockier, until there is no doubt you're on the mountain side. Higher up, bighorn sheep and mountain goats frolic, this can be tricky prey to catch. There are also many meadows in Oselia land, making for a great playground for young Lufte wolves who may not be skilled enough to navigate around obstacles such as trees. There is a small lake to the east which makes for great fishing.
alphas; kana & none • image of terra The Syathesti pack inhabits a forested "island" surrounded by a fierce river, with only two land bridges acting as exits. Their land is dense and damp, almost temperate rain forest you might say. There are many cliffs and rivers. The Syathesti are kind, though wary and untrusting of anyone outside their pack. They teach their pups many fighting secrets, making the lot of them fierce warriors. Abundant supplies of fish fill the rivers, and hooved herbivores roam the woods. Once in a while, they allow rogues into their pack. A fairly-sized herd of elk can often be found grazing in the lush valley, and all sorts of deer prance and gallop through the forests. It is a great place to raise a family! The mountains border this dense terra, as do several large cliffs and canyons. Any rogue in this region will surely become lost, but if you are a Syathesti wolf, you will know this land like the back of your paw.
alphas; bethany & none • image of terra This particular Vann territory is extremely lush and thickly forested. Deep lakes and waterfalls make up a large portion of the land, and another large portion is rather swampy. The trees here tower over the forest bed, creating a grand ceiling-like canopy. It is a very wild and green terra, seeming to have more of a temperate rainforest climate than a deciduous one. However, there is a large meadow in the middle of the territory. This is a good area for hunting. The lakes are deep, but clear and beautiful. To the south, there is a string of caves hidden in the thick forest. Many of these are connected by underground rivers, making them a fun hideout for the Vann. Fireflies and crickets live here almost year-round, creating a beautiful ambience in this damp, green land.
Alphas; Resist & none To the south of Laopitnuu, bordering the ocean cliffs is the Tanrryn pack lands. They live in dark, coniferous and deciduous forests, with much open land in their territory. This clan is compassionate, and believe there is a good side to all seemingly-evil beings, and perhaps even a dark side to those thought to be righteous. Where the land slopes and meets with the ocean, the Tanrryn wolves often get to gorge on beached whales, clams, lobsters, and other such sea food. Their land isn't swampy like most lands in Lorach, but there are many rivers and small lakes. Feral pigs are a common sight here, though some can be rather hostile. Within the pack, wolves of all ranks are treated with respect, and loved by the ones close to them. Moose, and elk also roam this land, which can be hazardous to hunt, but worth it. This pack has a coveted territory, and challenges against the alphas are a constant concern.
The Plains This area is the one and only area in Laopitnuu where the wild bison and mustangs are found. It stretches endlessly for miles and miles, way beyond the border of the wolves' beloved Laopitnuu. A generous portion of the plains is consumed by three foot tall golden grass, while other areas may be covered in much taller foliage. There are small forests littered throughout the plain, but mainly it is just open, flat land. Many other creatures roam here as well, such as large herds of elk, caribou, wild ponies, and various species of deer. In the winter, snow transforms this flat land into a vast slate of nothing but white. It is mainly a dry place, but there are a few rare places where it becomes a little swampy, and there are also several ponds where one can quench their thirst after traversing the dry plain for so long. This land is a crucial hunting ground for predators searching large prey. It is also a very beautiful place, especially in midday when the falling sun illuminates the grass and trees just right. It is dangerous too, as rival predators often hunt here too, including cougars, bears, wolverines, and large birds of prey that could make off with young pups. Be wary, traveler.
Fortryllet This is a dark and mysterious place. Fortryllet, also known as "The Enchanted Wood" is a massive expanse of thick, towering forests. It is not like other forests however, no. It has never been fully explored, for usually no one ever returns after entering into this magical place. Within, it is devastatingly gorgeous, like the kind of mystical forest you would see in a fairytale, but something sinister lies beneath its innocent guise. There is magic at work here, and odd creatures hide in the dark caves. It always seems that trees are moving, and odd little mushrooms appear out of nowhere. There appears to be some sparkling, ethereal veil shrouding this place, which emanates a golden glow. Fireflies dance through the trees year-round, even in the winter, though no snow touches the earth here because the canopies far above are so thick. Everything in this forest is extraordinary, the rocks, trees, and fauna are massive and have a fiery contrast, and curtains of gorgeous vines seem to hang from everywhere. Even the swamps are gorgeous and bright with unnatural, golden light. Music seems to play from afar, and the prey animals here almost literally give themselves up, and are the tastiest you could ever find. Beware, all is not as it seems. Madness surely will befall the fool who enters, and they will surely vanish, forever a part of the enchanted forest. Heh, we are all mad here!

The Ocean Beyond the plains is the glorious ocean. In many areas it is surrounded by unbelievably high, rocky, cliffs. In other areas, you can walk down the beach with the waves lapping at your feet. However, it doesn't have the beautiful, white, sandy beach you're thinking of. The beaches have some sand of course, but it is mostly just rocky and littered with sea debris. It is a beautiful and wonderful place, and can be very romantic. Much of the time, the waves are very choppy and there is a storm far off in the sky. The wind will be so fierce; it will knock a young wolf off their paws. When the waters are more serene and the sky is clearer, the waves still crash against the rocky cliffside. Once in a while, there may be seals on the shore, or maybe if you're lucky, a beached killer whale. They make a grand buffet. Vann wolves can often be found diving in and out of the water like a dolphin, and many other rogue wolves find themselves here as well. The ocean is heaven for Vann wolves. They can swirl around coral reefs, rocket after fish, and even play with the aquatic wildlife. However, farther out, there may be killer whales and great white sharks. It is best to keep close to shore, especially when a Vann is young. Fighting off one of those massive underwater carnivores would be nearly impossible.
Nomadic Lands Anything beyond Laopitnuu is known as the Nomads. It is forbidden for the wolves to make a clan in the Nomads, especially those who would surely draw attention to themselves. Anything could be found in this mysterious beyond, including the lands of humans. No wolf knows what is really out there, and not a one is foolish enough to find out. However, many rogues wander just outside of Laopitnuu in these badlands, but they usually find their way back into the sacred land. It is believed that horrible, ghastly creatures live in the "beyond" as it's also known. Shaman's will often tell great tales to young pups about the horrid dragons and chimeras that live beyond the safety of the wolves' land. It is mostly just to frighten them so they will not run away into unknown land. The Nomad land is often referred to as evil, and with good reason. Human hunters thrive there, and their horrible traps litter the forests. It is dangerous, and a complete mystery to the wolves. Massive cliffs and mountains surround Laopitnuu, with only two entrances to the land, one to the east, and one to the north. It is almost impossible to get into Laopitnuu, unless you are a good enough tracker to find one of the two entrances. Because of this, humans never come here, which is a good thing.
